MEET KARI

Kari lived with diabetes her entire life. She was given an opportunity to lobby for preventative care and education in high school. On her Honeymoon, she went to India to administer polio vaccines. Kari fell in building her communities through prevention. In 2012 she started EMployment Means Success, to help those who live with disabilities to retain gainful employment. EMS has helped 5,000 people since.

SUPPORT WORKERS WHO LIVE WITH A DISABILITY

"The people who come through EMS have a strong desire to do the job. It's refreshing to hire someone who wants to be there and wants to work hard. EMS hires are vetted, and they are there to help"

Chris Siska, Owner CPR & More

"I met her through the department of Rehabilitation. Brenda was very nice. She was super helpful. She understood my needs. She helped me find my job. She helped me land Michele's dog grooming"

Breyanna Bachman, EMS Client

"“I help the client to relax, but at the same time, we learn tasks that are involved in their job, to be as independent as possible, follow the rules of the employer, and be a member of their team."

Billy Rosales, EMS Job Coach
